- ➤ Main Street westbound on U.S. 84 will close for six weeks as crews work on the new $56 million city hall, with drivers merging left toward McDonald’s and First Baptist Church; city officials said detours and delays will last until the closure ends around Feb. 13 (safety concerns). WTVY
- ➤ Flynn Road will be closed for guardrail work on the bridge culvert from Jan. 5 to Jan. 11. City officials say the closure applies to the stretch between Murphy Mill and Redmond Roads, and motorists should plan ahead+ use alternate routes. Wiregrass Daily News
