- ➤ Wiregrass 211 and The Exchange Center are hosting a superhero-themed Mother–Son Dance on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Alfa Building at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds to raise funds for nonprofit services and family protection programs — guests can wear secret identities, Sunday best, or superhero-themed outfits. - ➤ A free CPR class will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31 at the Ozark Dale County Library as community members learn lifesaving techniques from Joe Wood (registration is limited and available at the front desk). Wiregrass Daily News
- ➤ Dr. Caitlin Blackmon returned to her hometown to launch a mobile veterinary clinic that has treated over 100 large animals across Coffee, Dale and Pike counties since November. She will expand service days soon to support more local farms. WTVY
