- ➤ Downtown Dothan will start a new busking policy on March 1 that lets registered musicians perform near Porter Park, along Foster Street, and inside the park — upcoming events include concerts at the Civic Center, off-Broadway productions at the Opera House, and Mardi Gras celebrations downtown. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Houston County Schools is offering free ACT prep classes for 10th- and 11th-grade students that will run through February and March at local campuses. The program removes financial barriers for college-bound students. WTVY
