BUSINESS NEWS

  • Mexican Connection, a Dothan eatery that has served locals for 40 years, will close its doors as the owners retire. The restaurant will soon end operations after decades of service.  WTVY
  • J&M Industries, a Ponchatoula-based tarp and food packaging manufacturer, plans to open a new 70,000 sqft facility at Houston County Distribution Park, which is expected to create 10 to 15 full-time jobs. Construction will begin in the fourth quarter with completion projected in 2027.  WTVY
