Shamrockin’ Saturday on Saturday, Mar.
14 in downtown will feature a scavenger hunt, kids Rainbow Dash, a 5K color run and a free concert hosted by local businesses. The event is set to offer families a day of community fun.

A Spring Break Camp for 6-12 year-olds will run from March 30 to April 3 in Westgate, Wiregrass, and Walton Park.
The full-day childcare program will offer games, activities, and field trips for $50.
Governor Ivey invited Alabama high school students to enter the Presidential 1776 Award—a national civics and history competition offering $250,000 in scholarships—by registering online before Feb.
22; top scorers will advance to regional semifinals and later to a national championship in Washington, D.C.

The Saliba Center is hosting open interviews on Feb.
26 for a full-time Consumer Support Worker role with the Work Plus Department at its facility (301 W. Lafayette St.), where applicants must have a bachelor's degree and can attend sessions from 8 a.m.-noon or 1 p.m.-4 p.m.

The HIV Prevention Network will hold an educational networking meeting on Monday, Feb.

Twelve Wiregrass basketball teams traveled to Montgomery for the Sweet 16 and some advanced into the Elite 8 — including Providence Christian boys and girls and a historic Kinston girls squad.
They will face new opponents Monday and Tuesday as the regional tournament continues.
