- ➤ On March 20th, a Dothan judge kept accused wife killer Stephen Miller's bond at $1.5 million after rejecting his attorney's recommendation for $150,000 — noting the violent nature of the murder and family testimony — and the case will move to additional hearings with a grand jury set to review it soon. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine announced that all members of its Class of 2025 secured a residency placement during Match Day last week — more than half of the placements went to primary care fields. The graduates will now train in residency programs in 29 states including Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio and Texas. Rickey Stokes News

- ➤ A local non-profit spoke on HB110—a bill that would extend the time for crime victims to receive compensation—and said the measure might give victims more time for support as lawmakers review its details. WTVY
- ➤ The Houston County Commission passed a resolution against a Senate bill that would raise the 40,000 pound limit for trucks, which local officials say will harm roads and bridges. The Senate will debate and vote on the bill soon as critics warn that heavier trucks may lead to millions of dollars in extra repair costs. WTVY
