- ➤ Dontavian McCree pleaded guilty as one of several suspects in the killing of sleeping Christina Moore during a drive-by shooting in 2020 in Dothan. WTVY
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The 4th Annual Loop Music & Art Festival in Dothan is set for April 11-12 and will feature over 43 artists, eight musical performances and live demonstrations — with free entry and guided tours to enhance the visitor experience. Wiregrass Daily News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Education coordinator Kelley Curington said Landmark Park in Dothan will soon host a new exhibit in connection with one of the biggest names in museums. WTVY
- ➤ HudsonAlpha Wiregrass is enrolling rising 6th through 9th graders in summer camps that offer hands-on science experiences at Dothan High School (registered families will receive confirmation packets with location and drop-off instructions). The Middle School camp runs June 9 to 11 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and the High School camp runs June 16 to 20 with a $150 tuition fee for the foundational session while waitlists and scholarships are available.
