The Tri-State Community Orchestra will celebrate 30 years by revisiting favorite tunes in its Encore!

Dontavian McCree pleaded guilty as one of several suspects in the killing of sleeping Christina Moore during a drive-by shooting in 2020 in Dothan.
🎭 Culture
The 4th Annual Loop Music & Art Festival in Dothan is set for April 11-12 and will feature over 43 artists, eight musical performances and live demonstrations — with free entry and guided tours to enhance the visitor experience.
🎓 Education
Education coordinator Kelley Curington said Landmark Park in Dothan will soon host a new exhibit in connection with one of the biggest names in museums.
HudsonAlpha Wiregrass is enrolling rising 6th through 9th graders in summer camps that offer hands-on science experiences at Dothan High School (registered families will receive confirmation packets with location and drop-off instructions).
The Middle School camp runs June 9 to 11 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and the High School camp runs June 16 to 20 with a $150 tuition fee for the foundational session while waitlists and scholarships are available.

The National Weather Service confirmed that an EF1 tornado struck Dothan on April 2nd at 12:31 p.m. and moved 3.1 miles with a 200-yard width – reaching winds up to 105 MPH.
