Today at 6:52 a.m., a structure fire was reported at 1601 Galaxie Drive in Dothan and firefighters saw smoke and flames—multiple fire engine companies responded and had the fire under control by 7:25 a.m.

Latrevius Thomas-Jackson of Dothan was released after serving time for killing a man but was arrested hours later when police charged him with marijuana possession and obstruction of justice—he now faces an additional 12-year sentence while his lawyer fights for leniency.
