The temporary break is part of efforts to ease rising food costs.
On Saturday, Apr. 18, gas prices in Alabama dropped nearly 10 cents to $3.78, but experts say ongoing uncertainty from Iranian control of the Strait of Hormuz (keeping hundreds of millions of barrels of oil stuck) means prices will stay high.
