- ➤ Wiregrass Pets Rescue & Adoption will host its first-ever summer camp for kids this summer + offering activities that teach animal care in a welcoming environment for local families. WTVY
- ➤ Houston Academy’s 9th graders visited the Wiregrass Innovation Center (welcoming its first high school freshmen class) on Monday, Apr. 27 to work hands-on with genetics and DNA while exploring cancer research. WTVY
- ➤ A new private school will take over the old Montana Street School building soon in Dothan. School officials say enrollment details and launch plans will be shared shortly (official information is pending). Dothan Eagle
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Taylor Duncan (founder of the Alternative Baseball Organization) discussed the Wiregrass Warriors program for athletes on the autism spectrum and with disabilities during a community event.
