EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Dothan High School counselors tell seniors they do not need to have everything planned by graduation and provide guidance sessions to help plan future steps. The program aims to ease stress about post-graduation decisions. WTVY
- ➤ Dothan High School now offers classes on resumes, interviews, college costs, and life skills to help seniors transition after graduation (according to guidance counselor Sylvia Quattlebaum). The program supports students choosing work or college paths as they overcome post-COVID challenges. WTVY
- ➤ Wiregrass Pets is launching a summer camp for kids from June 1 until June 26 (camps run daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) that combine animal care, STEM activities, creative sessions, and water slides. Parents can sign up online, on Facebook or by phone. Wiregrass Daily News
