- ➤ The Wiregrass Area Food Bank will be open on Saturday, May 10, to collect non-perishable food donations from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. as part of its annual Stamp Out Hunger drive — community members and local letter carriers will help stock shelves for families in need. Wiregrass Daily News
- ➤ The Christian trio CAIN is ending their 12-stop Jesus Music Tour later this week in Dothan with a $500 donation to the local Salvation Army—funds that will help pay for meals, shelter, and emergency services for families in need. Wiregrass Daily News

- ➤ Dothan Police are asking for help to locate 16-year-old Ethan Mack, who was last seen by his family at their home in the 2200 block of Ross Clark Circle last Wednesday wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and black slides—he is believed to be with missing teen Breeanah Jackson and anyone with information should call DPD at 3347930215. - ➤ Dothan Police issued alerts for two runaway teens last seen April 30—16-year-old Breeanah Kathy Jackson was seen early near the 2300 block of South Oates Street with red hair and blue eyes and 16-year-old Ethan Bryson Mack was seen around 8:00 p.m. near the 2200 block of Ross Clark Circle—and police believe the teens may be traveling together, urging anyone with information to contact the department. - ➤ Dothan was chosen as a host city for FuelAL, a statewide internship program that connects college students with local industries and communities; students can apply now to gain real-world experience this summer + career summits are scheduled on June 13 to 15 and July 18 to 19 for career workshops. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Rehobeth High School NJROTC students met on Saturday at 10:15 a.m. at an official's office to discuss plans to merge their program with the NDCC at the Houston County Career Academy. The group of over 80 cadets—who say the NDCC lacks key military benefits—is urging local supporters to sign a petition and contact the Board of Education to save their current program.
