- ➤ Veterans and community members will join Colors of Courage, a free creative arts event at Fort Novosel Arts & Crafts Center on Tuesday, May 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.—organizers say the event supports veteran mental health with activities like painting, sculpting, and using craft kits provided by Help Veterans Heal and partnered groups. - ➤ Dothan Police Lt. Jason Adkins was named Supervisor + DPD Cpl. Ryan Anderson received Officer of the Year at the department’s Promotions and Awards Ceremony on May 15. The awards honored their service + highlighted their leadership in the department. Dothan Eagle
- ➤ Derrick Tiller, a candidate for City Commissioner District 2, detailed his plans to boost economic growth and support neighborhood revitalization in an interview.
