- ➤ Dale County Sheriff, Geneva County Sheriff, FBI, and ALEA SBI officers executed a search warrant at a Geneva County residence early this morning based on cyber crime intelligence—an arrest was made although authorities have not released the suspect’s name. Rickey Stokes News
- ➤ On June 4, officers searched Horace Shehard Road and Highway 231 North for an escapee from the Southeast Alabama Diversion Center—reports said Troy University Dothan went on lockdown after multiple sightings were reported. Rickey Stokes News
- ➤ A Dothan teen, Lontarious Reddick, ran away and was last seen near the 2000 block of Basin Avenue on June 1 wearing all black clothing—police will update on his whereabouts as new details emerge. WDHN

- ➤ On Saturday, June 7, downtown Dothan will host the fifth annual Tri-State Expo Juneteenth Parade and Celebration, featuring drumline performances, dance ensembles, and community groups marching along a set route that ends at the Civic Center parking lot. The event is open to the public and marks the first year Juneteenth is an official Alabama state holiday. WTVY
- ➤ Stand-up comedian Ali Siddiq will bring his In The Shadows Tour to the Dothan Opera House on September 20, with pre-sale tickets available June 4 at 10 a.m. and general tickets on sale June 6; fans can use code +HUSTLE+ to get early access.
