- ➤ HudsonAlpha Wiregrass received a $50,000 grant from the Alabama STEM Council to bring bioscience career resources to high school students in the Wiregrass region. - ➤ Two standout Wiregrass students were named among 21 Alabamians appointed to U.S. service academies for the Class of 2029 as announced by Senator Tommy Tuberville—Aiden Harkey of Slocomb High School accepted an appointment to West Point to study chemical engineering while Cammi Tillery of Enterprise High School earned a scholarship to the U.S. Military Academy Preparatory School to pursue military intelligence.
