This June, PTSD Awareness Month launches a conversation for local veterans to learn they are not alone (and for families to discover available support).

Three Dothan Special Olympics athletes and a parent helper are heading to Minneapolis to compete in swimming, track and field, and unified bocce at the national Special Olympics USA event this week.
Mitchell Automotive Group is providing transportation, and the athletes aim to earn gold and set personal records.
Young soccer players from across the Wiregrass will join the Tri-State Soccer Camp in Dothan from July 20 to 23.
Organized by Dothan Leisure Services, Dothan Shockers FC and the European Soccer Academy, sessions will run daily from 8 a.m. until noon at Westgate Park (Northcutt Football Field) for $195.
