Dothan Leisure Services will host a meet+greet event for community members with low vision or vision impairments at the Doug Tew Therapeutic Recreation Center on August 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event offers lunch+fun activities and a chance to share ideas for program options such as sports and non-sports recreation, with free transportation available within Dothan.
Dothan Leisure Services announced that beginning Monday, August 11 at 6 a.m. Connector B—near markers 500, 510, and 520—will be closed for boardwalk improvements, affecting access from the North and West Trailheads; visitors are asked to use the East Trailhead as an alternate route and a reopening date will be provided when the work is complete.
