- ➤ Wiregrass Museum of Art received a $5,000 grant from Alabama Power to launch Studio 126, a free after-school art program for teens ages 13 to 16 starting this fall — the grant covers materials, staffing and studio operations. - ➤ The Dothan Houston County Library System has launched the Youth Library Card Art Contest — open to DHCLS cardholders ages 0 to 18 — that invites young artists to submit artwork in person or online with entries due by 6 p.m. on August 29, and the winning design will appear on the new children’s library card.
