- ➤ Business owner Trant Bullard of True Vapor said that the new Dothan tax on vape products—10 cents per milliliter—will add about 30% to prices when it begins later this month, while a state tax takes effect in October. WTVY

- ➤ Haleigh Leanne Smith, a 19-year-old woman, was arrested in Houston County on Sept. 3 for drug trafficking and marijuana possession and remains in jail with a bond set at $1,030,000 — $1,000,000 for trafficking and $30,000 for possession. Wiregrass Daily News
