- ➤ The Kiwanis Club and McDonald's are hosting the 55th pancake breakfast fundraiser in Dothan, and community members can purchase $7 tickets from Kiwanis Club members. WTVY
- ➤ A community event called Brothers Building Bridges will be held Saturday, Sept. 27 at 9 a.m. at the Dixie Diner at 220 E. Powell Street to bring Black men in education and the community together to discuss challenges facing Black youth + share ideas for solutions. - ➤ Dothan Leisure Services will host its annual S'mores + Snores family campout on Oct. 10 to 11 at Eastgate Park, beginning Friday, Oct. 10 at 4:30 p.m. and ending Saturday, Oct. 11 at 8 a.m. The event, presented by Camping World, will offer tent camping, campfires, a scavenger hunt, nature walk and tent decorating contest while registered participants receive a goody bag, T-shirt, dinner, s'mores and breakfast for $20 each as they must bring their own gear because no electrical access is available.
