- ➤ Wiregrass Area Food Bank wrapped its yearly 'Stuff the Semi' donation drive yesterday and raised nearly $800 while filling a semi-truck with food—CEO David Hanks thanked everyone who donated and helped organize the event. WTVY
- ➤ Balkum Baptist Church will offer free meals on Thanksgiving Day to community members — Amanda Knight said the church will serve food at a designated location to help ensure no one goes hungry. The church hopes the meal program will provide vital support throughout the holiday. WTVY

- ➤ Dothan Livestock Market Report shows current cattle classes and prices and says the next sale will be on December 1 after Thanksgiving closure. - ➤ SMOKEY JOE'S BAR-B-QUE and CATERING continues its Thanksgiving tradition in Dothan as locals can order a full menu that includes smoked turkey, dressing, and other classic sides. - ➤ Holly Meyers and Clay Dempsey said the Dothan community helped secure an $84,000 grant for a music series that will boost live music in the city+ they expect the funding to lead to more local performances in the coming months. WTVY
- ➤ Drivers on Cherokee Avenue noticed a new colorful mural on the side of The Cellar bar and grill that honors the Future Masters Junior Golf Tournament by showing local golfer Press Thornton and the first tournament winners. Art in Public Places commissioned the piece from muralist Wes Hardin and plans to add more art that celebrates Dothan's traditions. Rickey Stokes News

- ➤ Dale County Sheriff’s Office runs Project Lifesaver to help families with loved ones who wander stay safe. Deputies are trained in ground and aerial searches to quickly recover vulnerable people. Rickey Stokes News
- ➤ Four newly certified officers from the Wiregrass Law Enforcement Academy graduated and will now begin the Field Training Program in Dothan. Officers Henderson, Hinson, Dumbaugh, and Blankenship showed strong commitment and discipline during training — they will gain more experience before serving as solo officers on our streets. - ➤ Local officials—members of the Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Agency—warned residents that the dry weather is raising wildfire risks and urged caution with any outdoor burning.
