- ➤ Students from Dothan City Schools ended fall break by donating over 6,000 food and nonperishable items to support local families—contributions were collected from several campuses and delivered to the Salvation Army, Wiregrass Area Food Bank, Mama T’s and the Southeast Alabama Youth Services Girls Home. - ➤ A candlelight vigil will take place on December 6 at 7:00 p.m. at Westgate Park as families gather at the Angel of Hope statue (located at the Choctaw Drive entrance) to remember lost children and find healing. Rickey Stokes News
