- ➤ Students from Dothan City Schools ended fall break by donating over 6,000 food and nonperishable items to support local families—contributions were collected from several campuses and delivered to the Salvation Army, Wiregrass Area Food Bank, Mama T’s and the Southeast Alabama Youth Services Girls Home. - ➤ Porter Park and Events Plaza in downtown Dothan hosted the city's annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Dec 2. Local residents gathered to view festive lights and music that welcomed the holiday season. WTVY

- ➤ Dothan Livestock Market reported receipts of 524 head this week compared to 532 last week and detailed prices for feeder cattle and heifers (showing lower supply and strong demand).
