A candlelight vigil was held Dec.
6 at 7:00 p.m. at the Angel of Hope statue in Westgate Park to honor parents and families who lost a child—attendees were given a candle and white flower for remembrance.

Sen. Katie Britt and other lawmakers passed a resolution to honor three sailors killed in a 2019 terror attack, including one from Enterprise.
The brave men received the Purple Heart at a ceremony at Naval Air Station Pensacola on Saturday.

Ariton High School’s standout Lizzie Faircloth signed with Bishop State Community College on Thursday after a strong high school career.
She will finish her senior season in Ariton before joining the college team in Mobile.
