- ➤ On Dec. 19, 2025, Judge Chris Richardson denied the Alabama-West Florida Conference's motion in a lengthy bench trial over a property dispute with Harvest Church on Fortner Street + Ross Clark Circle. The church now maintains full ownership as the legal battle continues. Rickey Stokes News

- ➤ Silver Wings Golf Course in Fort Rucker is hosting a Christmas Eve 9 Hole Challenge tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. for a two-person scramble contest; registration is available at the pro shop at $25 for members and $35 for non-members (range balls included, with extra fees for golf carts).
